Heritage · A House from jodhpur

From the heart
of Rajasthan.

A house written by hand, over three generations.

Chapter One · Nenji Baju Waale
Late Shri Nenu Ram Ji Katta

Founded in 1915 by Late Shri Nenu Ram Ji Katta, an artisan revered for his mastery of the traditional Rajasthani Baju Bandh, hence named “NENJI BAJU WAALE”. As generations passed and the craft evolved, the heritage continued under a new identity, “JGL,” but the roots still remained intact.

Known for his devotion to purity and precision, Shri Nenu Ram Ji's creations adorned the noble wrists of Rajput royalty. His artistry earned him an invitation to Umaid Bhawan Palace, where he crafted the Baju Bandh for a royal wedding of Jodhpur.

In an era where craftsmanship was measured not by fame but by faith, Nenu Ram Ji's work became a symbol of both artistry and integrity, a legacy of 22-karat devotion that would transcend generations.

Evolving the Sacred Craft

As decades passed, his sons and grandsons carried forward the sacred craft, each generation refining, evolving, yet never straying from the roots of tradition.

Honoring the Golden Oath

Today, this timeless heritage is upheld by Shri Jitendra Soni, son of Shri Gordhanlal Ji Soni and grandson of Shri Nenu Ram Ji Soni, who continues to honor the golden oath of purity, precision, and perfection.

A Visionary Pivot

A visionary at heart, Jitendra Ji bridged tradition with modern artistry, introducing stone-crafted jewelry to Rajasthan in the early 2000s, long before it became a global trend.

A Lineage in Gold

Each piece he creates is not merely jewelry, it is a lineage, sculpted in gold.

Chapter Two · The Hand

A single piece is finished by a single artisan.Begun by one hand. Ended by the same.

It is the slowest possible way to make jewellery. There are no assembly lines, no quotas, no rushed weeks before festival season. A bangle may take forty days. A choker, a year. We ask our clients to wait, and most of them, when they understand, are grateful for the wait.

Chapter Three · What We Believe

Four quiet commitments.

I.

Time before speed

We will not rush. A piece is ready when it is ready, and not before. The wait is part of the work.

II.

One hand, one piece

Each piece is begun and finished by the same artisan. Their name is inscribed inside.

III.

Old gold, made new

All gold is refined in-house. We accept heirloom pieces in part-exchange — your grandmother's chain may become your daughter's ring.

IV.

Honest stones

No treatments, no fillers, no shortcuts. Every stone arrives with provenance, and a story we know.

"A piece you wear for a season is jewellery.
A piece your granddaughter wears is heritage."
